A Place for the Ordinary

Mary did not believe that there was anything unique about her. When told that she would give birth to the Messiah, her first reaction was to point out how ordinary that she was. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of God doing incredible things through the most unlikely people. There is a place for the ordinary in the story of Jesus.
